The Broad Street Bullies vs the La La Land Kings

Thursday, November 1, the Philadelphia Flyers had a game vs the 3-8-1 Los Angeles Kings. The Flyers had to deal with the time change of 3 hours behind, but battling with a winning record they were not going to make any excuses. The 6-7-0 Flyers went into the game seeking out a win. With a winning score of 5-2 put the Flyers in a better spot in the rankings, they need the wins. The Flyers had goals from Ivan Provorov, Wayne Simmonds, Oskar Lindblom, Claude Giroux and Robert Hagg. The duel goes from the Kings came from former Philadelphia Flyer Jeff Carter and Russian KHL superstar Ilya Kovalchuk. Flyers killed a 5 on 3 powerplay in the middle of the first period. Provaror had the lone goal in the first period off a beautiful assist. The score was very relevant to the game, at some points it was a little back and forth but the Flyers dominated and capitalized on their chances.
