Saturday, November 3, The Philadelphia Flyers traveled out to San Jose so play the San Jose Sharks. This is the second team the two teams have met this year, but this time the Sharks are home. The Flyers are looking to have a better performance rather than the 2-8 loss earlier in the year infront of their fans no less. The Flyers are looking to make a statemeant coming in with a 6-7-1 record. Nolan Patrick, Jordan Weal and Jakub Voracek scored, and Oskar Lindblom had two assists for Philadelphia. Joe Pavelski and Joe Thornton scored, along with Timo Meier recording two goals including the game winner in overtime just 13 seconds in. Kevin Labanc had two assists and Martin Jones made 22 saves for San Jose (7-4-3), which had lost two straight. The Flyers played a hard fought game but the talented San Jose Sharks was just too much for the Philadelphia Flyers.
