Flyers beat out the Bruins

On Wednesday, January 16 the Philadelphia Flyers welcome the 9th ranked Boston Bruins. The Bruins have a record of 27-16-5 for 59 points in 48 games while the Flyers are ranked 27th with a losing record of 18-23-6 for 42 points in 47 games. The Boston Bruins had two goals in the first period by David Pasternak adding his 27th goal of the year while Peter Cehlarik scored his first of the year. Second period was quiet for the Bruins before scoring their last of the game in the third period from Peter Cehlarik for his second of the year. The Flyers had one goal in the first period from Oskar Lindblom for his 5th goal of the year. Sean Couturier had himself quite a night scoring two goals in the second period and one goal in the third period for his 17th,18th,19th goals of the year getting a hatrick. Rookie goaltender Carter Hart gets the win for the boy in orange improving their record to 19-23-6.
