On April 4, Thursday night the Philadelphia Flyers traveled out west to battle the St. Louis Blues. The Flyers currently have a winning record of 37-36-8, while the St. Louis Blues have a winning record of 44-28-9. The Flyers are sitting at 22 in the National Hockey League and the St. Louis Blues are at 11. Oskar Lindblom, James Van Riemsdyk and Claude Giroux all scored in the first period for the Flyers while Barbashev, O’Reilly, Steen, Maroon, and Perron all scored for the Blues in the first period leading 3-5. The Philadelphia Flyers were held scoreless for the rest of the game, but meanwhile the St. Louis Blues were not done yet, Brayden Schenn scored his 16th goal of the year in the second period and Alexander Steen notched his second goal of the game in the third period finalizing the scoring for the game of 3-7 St. Louis Blues.
